Foundations of Pain Recovery Immersion

Laying the groundwork for recovery from chronic symptoms.

When chronic pain or other persistent symptoms have become a part of daily life, it can be difficult to know where to begin. You may have spent months or years searching for answers, trying treatments, managing symptoms, and adjusting life around what your body can or cannot do. The Foundations of Pain Recovery Immersion offers a concentrated starting point for understanding your symptoms and building the foundation for meaningful, lasting recovery.

There is a difference between rushing recovery and giving recovery the time and attention it deserves.

Pain recovery is not something that can—or should—be rushed. In fact, the urgency and pressure to get better can sometimes reinforce the very sense of threat and vigilance that keeps the nervous system on high alert.

And yet, building a strong foundation does not have to take months.

A Pain Recovery Immersion provides two dedicated days to begin building that foundation: understanding the neuroscience of pain, exploring your unique pain experience, identifying life patterns that may be influencing your nervous system, and beginning to develop new experiences of safety and regulation.

This is not about forcing recovery to happen faster. It is about creating time and focused attention to accomplish in two days what might otherwise unfold gradually over several weeks of therapy.

The foundation is built first. Recovery then has the space to unfold.

The goal is not simply to learn about pain. It is to begin experiencing a different relationship with the body—one grounded in safety, curiosity, understanding, and confidence rather than fear and protection.

This two-day immersion is designed to help you understand chronic symptoms through a contemporary mind-body framework and begin building the foundations for recovery. Grounded in Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), somatic approaches, trauma-informed care, and current neuroscience research, we will explore how your nervous system, brain, emotions, learned patterns, and lived experience can contribute to the persistence of pain and other symptoms.
